Lüftungskonzept Österreich
Ziel des Projektes ist die Schaffung eines Nachweisverfahrens (auf Basis Microsoft-Excel), welches zeigt, ob eine natürliche Lüftung bzw. Fensterlüftung bei einer Standardnutzung zur Vermeidung von Schimmelbildung ausreichend, bzw. in Hinblick auf eine ausreichende hygienische Luftqualität zumutbar ist.

IEA-IETS Task 19: Electrification of Industry
The electrification of industry can make a major contribution to CO2 reduction. The aim of the task was a transfer of knowledge between the international and the state levels. Nationally, the aim was to spread and establish the topic of “electrification of industry” through stakeholder involvement. A comparison of electrification based on roadmaps and resources was carried out and, above all, systemic aspects of electrification of industry were analysed.
IEA IETS Annex 11: Industrial Biorefineries (Working period 2020-2022)
With the increasing market share of bio-based products, the concepts of circular economy are highly relevant for the industry. In this context, biorefineries have established themselves as an explicitly integrative, multi-functional overall concept and essential hub in the use of biomass as a raw material source for the sustainable production of various (intermediate) products (chemicals, valuable materials, energy carriers).
Pilot-Biogas plant consisting of prefabricated units
Construction of a biogas tank built of prefabricated reinforced concrete elements, erected and operated at an existing biogas plant in Bruck an der Leitha. The precast concrete technology promised a lot of advantages but also posed a lot of questions that had to be solved. These problems considered especially the sealing method and the general construction with precast concrete elements.
Sustainable energy supply: Production and import of biomass and bio fuels
The project gives an overview of the supply and demand for biofuels specifically dealing with the situation in Europe and that in threshold and developing countries using case studies as examples. Cases: Sweden and France as importing countries in the EU, and Senegal as a (potential) exporting nation.
