The BMK lead project KRAISBAU is a collaboration of 32 partners for the realization of a sustainable and circular construction industry. The project focuses on the development and implementation of AI-supported solutions in circular construction along the entire value chain. Development of a mobile and modular thermally-driven-cooling-system for cooling powers ranging from 17 to 210 kW. The driving heat is provided by solar collectors and a biomass boiler. For research purposes a cooling systems (70 kW) will be installed in Gleisdorf where the company EnergyCabin is located.

The multi-purpose apparatus is cheaper and requires less material and space. Less power consumption because of utilistion of the cyclone vortex in the induced draft fan.

TEA-PUMP – Techno-economic Analysis of Thermo­electric Modules for Efficiency and Performance Enhancement in Heat Pumps for Residential Buildings

The TEA-Pump project explores the innovative use of thermoelectric elements (TEM) in compression heat pumps to enhance their efficiency and performance. Through a comprehensive techno-economic analysis, promising heat pump (HP) configurations for use in urban multi-family housing are identified. The project makes a significant contribution to the decarbonization of heating and cooling supply and supports the development of climate-neutral cities through energy-efficient, future-oriented heat pump technologies.

Flucco+ - Flexible user comfort in quarter-hourly CO2-neutral Positive Energy Districts (PED)

The aim of the project is to improve the planning basis for the construction and operation of energy flexible buildings in three specific areas. First the further development of existing models of thermal comfort for dynamic situations, second the quantification of future energy grid usefulness and third the holistic testing of the developed comfort and CO2 model at three potential positive energy districts (PED), taking into account the ecological assessment as well as the life cycle costs.
