Dieses Projekt behandelt eine umfassende Sanierung einer Siedlungdes sozialen Wohnbaus aus den 1960er Jahren in einer strukturschwachen Region.Dabei geht es um eine Optimierung aller Teilbereiche, die Wohnen umfassen,mit einem systemischen Sanierungsansatz im interdisziplinären Team.
Innovativer Mottenschutz für Schafwolldämmstoffe
Schafwolle gilt als ausgezeichneter Dämmstoff im Hausbau und bei der Altbau-Sanierung. Leider wird Schafwolle häufig mit problematischen Insektiziden gegen Mottenbefall ausgerüstet und somit als "Naturprodukt" entwertet. Für das wohngesunde "Haus der Zukunft" wurde ein innovativer, ungefährlicher und effektiver Mottenschutz für Schafwolldämmstoffe entwickelt.

Bio-waste Digestion Markgrafneusiedl: The example of a successful bio-waste fermentation plant described in this contribution is operated by Bio-waste Digestion "Markgrafneusiedl". The plant with an annual capacity of 15,000 tonnes went into operation in 2006. It can process a variety of bio-waste material such as waste from the meat processing industry, separately collected bio-waste from households and even food waste contained in steel barrels of up to 200 litres.
