Content Description

From 6th to 10th July 2008, Vienna will host the 13th ENERGEX 2008 Congress & Exhibition - an extraordinary gathering of international energy experts from all over the world. The congress is expected to become the leading forum for all kinds of energy questions involving worldwide enterprises and dealing with issues such as nuclear, fossil and sustainable energy. In this context ENERGEX 2008 will also cover a broad range of technological developments, transportation and logistics as well as the essential security and safety matters involved.  Host of ENERGEX is the International Energy Foundation (IEF), a non-profit group of scientists, researchers. The foundation's main interest lies in researching better ways to produce, transmit and conserve energy with respect to the technical, economic and human dimensional elements including global climate change and sustainable development. 

For ENERGEX 2008, the Scientific Committee has chosen the congress topic "Energy for Human Development and the Protection of the Environment". The congress will serve as a platform for experts with diverse economical, political or technological backgrounds to focus on the question of how energy can be used to globally stimulate human and social development.
