Natural Dyes for the Textile Industry
New cooperations between agriculture und industry are necessary to ensure the utilization of renewable materials. The project´s focus is upon natural dyes and their application in textile industry. The goal of the project is to create a contact institution which connects various suppliers of diverse plant materials, takes on the processing, and standardising of the natural dyes, and makes a product that can be used by the industry.

Bioökonomie-FTI-Strategie
In der FTI-Arbeitsgruppe „Klimawandel und Ressourcenknappheit“ wurde eine Bioökonomie-FTI-Strategie erarbeitet. Ausgehend von einem Status Quo Bericht, der einen Überblick über Bioökonomie-relevante FTI-Aktivitäten gab, wurden Dialogforen veranstaltet um gemeinsam mit relevanten Stakeholdern themenspezifische Ziele und Forschungsfragen herauszuarbeiten und Empfehlungen zur Ausgestaltung des FTI-Portfolios zu formulieren.

Im Rahmen der FTI-Initiative Produktion der Zukunft des BMVIT werden 2016 über 16 Mio. Euro für die themenrelevante Forschungsprojekte bereitgestellt.
