TANZ - Sondierung Reallabor: Tourismus als Chance für die Energiewende im Pinzgau
Sondierung für ein regionales Reallabor zur Beschleunigung der Klimaneutralität Österreichs 2040 in der Tourismusregion Pinzgau. Basierend auf zahlreichen Vorarbeiten wurden Realtests für die Innovationsfelder Sektorkopplung, Energiegemeinschaften und Nachhaltige Wärmelösungen konzipiert, die Organisationsstruktur des Reallabors erarbeitet und relevante Akteur:innen aktiv eingebunden.
TANZ - Exploration of a regional living lab: Tourism as an opportunity for the energy transition in Pinzgau
Exploration for a regional living lab to accelerate Austria's climate neutrality in 2040 in the tourism region of Pinzgau. Based on numerous preliminary works, model solutions (“Realtests”) for the innovation fields of sector coupling, energy communities and sustainable heating solutions were designed, the organisational structure of the living lab is developed and stakeholders were actively involved.
DigiTech4CE - Digital key technologies for circular production
DigitTech4CE analysed industrial cycles in discrete, digitalised production; their participants, advantages/disadvantages and framework conditions, as well as the key digital technologies required. Fields of action were developed, according to the needs of Austrian industry. Recommendations for action serve the development of sustainable, Austrian production that builds and expands competitiveness through circular innovations.

AFOM - Automatisierte Fehler- & Optimierungsanalyse durch Messdatenerfassung
Im Projekt sollen Methoden entwickelt werden, um aus den Messwertverläufen Informationen über den Betrieb sowie Betriebsveränderungen zu erkennen und einer Fehlerbehandlung zuführen zu können. Durch die Einbindung von BIM-Daten aus dem Gebäude sollen entsprechende Modelle zur Validierung der Heizung, Lüftung, Klima (HLK)-Netzwerke erzeugt werden, welche zur Analyse herangezogen werden.
Business model innovations for rental and service models in the manufacturing sector
The project aims to contribute to a better understanding of the economic and ecological potentials of an implementation of lending and service models in the manufacturing sector in Austria and to show which changes and R&D efforts are necessary so that these can be realized by suitable business models.
BuildReUse ‐ 100 percent re‐use and recycling in buildings with short usage cycles
Some buildings, such as supermarkets or office buildings, are often demolished and rebuilt after a few years or at least have their interiors changed, turning large quantities of building components into waste. The BuildReUse project aims to develop circular economy concepts for these buildings and to promote the necessary change in the construction industry.
LightCycle
Fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite components with low weight, so-called lightweight components for transport and mobility, lead to significant CO2 savings. Despite established production technologies and weight savings, further progress in lightweight construction is increasingly difficult because the sustainability of these products is currently not given due to the unresolved recycling problem, although the regulations require, among other things, 85 % recycling of an end-of-life vehicle.

AFOM - Automatic failure and optimisation analysis by data-acquisition
In the project, methods will be developed for analysing measured value curves to detect changes in operation or failures in the system. By integrating BIM data of buildings, corresponding models will be generated to validate the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC)-networks, which will be used for analysis.
VITALITY - Energy optimised design rules and integral planning approach for building-integrated photovoltaics in urban areas
The VITALITY project aims to provide supporting tools, design rules and robust information in the early decision and design phase of building projects. By providing the right information at the right time, building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) is part of the discussion in the concept phase and the implementation is strongly prepared and supported.
Move2Grid - Umsetzung regionaler Elektromobilitätsversorgung durch hybride Kopplung
Aufbauend auf den Ergebnissen der „Stadt der Zukunft“ Sondierungsprojekte „Smart Exergy Leoben“, und „Energieschwamm Bruck“ soll im gegenständlichen,umsetzungsorientierten Forschungsvorhaben anhand des Beispiels Leoben untersucht werden, wie mit regionalen, erneuerbaren Ressourcen regionale Elektromobilität langfristig versorgt, optimal ins kommunale Verteilernetzsystem integriert und ökonomisch nachhaltig implementiert werden kann.
Move2Grid – Implementation of regional energy-supply-concepts by hybrid coupling
Based on the results of the national-funded exploratory projects called “Smart Exergy Leoben”, and “Energy Sponge Bruck”, the present implementation project aims at analysing how local, renewable resources support the supply of electric mobility in Leoben in the long term and to integrate it into the municipal distribution grid in a good economic sense.
Itz Smart – CO2 neutrale Stadtteilentwicklung Itzling, Umsetzung von Innovation und Technologie durch kooperative Prozessgestaltung
Ziel des Projekts „Itz Smart“ ist die Anknüpfung an bestehende Aktivitäten und die konsequente Weiterentwicklung des Wohnstandorts Itzling. Im Test- und Demonstrationsgebiet werden im Bereich der Verkehrsachse (Bahn und Schillerstraße) bzw. angrenzend an die Nahversorgungsachse (Itzlinger-Hauptstraße) nachhaltige Wohnquartiere mit zukunftsweisenden Mobilitätslösungen entwickelt. Die Betrachtung von „Wohnen und Mobilität“ zieht unter dem Aspekt „Stadt der kurzen Wege“ auch die Auseinandersetzung mit gezielter Mischnutzung und der Entwicklung solcher Quartiere nach sich.
Itz Smart – Carbon neutral city district development Itzling – Implementing innovation and technology via co-operative process design
The goal of the project “Itz Smart” is to tie in with existing activities and to consistently develop Itzling as a residential location further. In the test and demonstration area, sustainable residential quarters with trendsetting solutions for mobility are developed in the zone of the transport axis (railway and Schillerstraße) and along the local supply axis (Itzlinger Hauptstraße). The consideration of housing and mobility with regard to the aspect of “city of short ways“ also entails a discussion of determined mixed utilisation and the development of such residential quarters.

Das „Netzwerk Algen“ ist eine vom BMIMI (vormals BMK) initiierte und von der Österreichischen Gesellschaft für Umwelt und Technik (ÖGUT) in Kooperation mit BEST Bioenergy and Sustainable Technologies durchgeführte Veranstaltungsreihe zur Vernetzung der Akteurinnen und Akteure auf dem Gebiet der Algenforschung.

STP2030, St. Pölten 2030: KlimaNEUTRAL + KlimaFIT
Ein breit angelegter partizipatorischer Strategieprozess zur co-kreativen Erarbeitung der "Roadmap zur Klimaneutralität" St. Pöltens bis 2030. Die Roadmap fußt auf einer gemeinsam getragenen Vision, welche differenziert zu Transformationspfaden in unterschiedlichen Handlungsfeldern entwickelt wird. Im Ergebnis soll ein stadtgesellschaftliches "Klima des Wandels" entstehen, das der Basis für die Teilnahme an Ausschreibungen, Kooperation und Umsetzungen auf dem Weg in die Klimaneutralität dient.
