The event “Highlights of Energy Research” this year focused on the topic “Energy storage”. Activities of the IEA Energy Storage TCP, the market analysis of energy storages in Austria as well as various research projects were presented, which covered a wide range of topics from battery development to large-scale heat storage and sector coupling.

Die 9. Photovoltaik-Fachtagung, diesmal in Zusammenarbeit mit dem "Haus der Zukunft"-Symposium, soll auch heuer wieder die wesentlichsten Akteure aus Wirtschaft, Wissenschaft und Verwaltung zusammenbringen, um gemeinsam Impulse für die Zukunft zu generieren.
Staatspreis 2018 "Umwelt und Energietechnologie"
Bis 5. September besteht die Möglichkeit, herausragende Entwicklungen oder erfolgreiche Umsetzungen von F&E-Ergebnissen in der Kategorie „Forschung & Innovation“ einzureichen. Die Ausschreibung adressiert explizit zukunftsweisende Innovationen im Bereich intelligente Energienetze, Speicher und Systemanwendungen sowie Innovationen bei Energietechnologien und deren intelligente Systemintegration in Industrie, Gewerbe, Gebäuden und urbanen Regionen.
Making Cities Work - JPI Urban Europe Innovation Action
Eingeladen sind Konsortien, die Umsetzungsfragen adressieren und dabei institutionelle, soziale und finanzielle Hindernisse überwinden möchten. Die Projekte sollen konkrete städtische Herausforderungen bearbeiten und auf die Entwicklung eines Machbarkeitsnachweises sowie auf das gegenseitige Lernen auf europäischer Ebene im Rahmen transdiziplinärer Konsortien mit aktiver Beteiligung sowohl von Kommunen als auch von Unternehmen gerichtet sein.
Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking 2020: Call for Proposals
Der Call for Proposals des Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI JU) ist gestartet. Eingereicht werden können Forschungs- und Innovationstätigkeiten, Demo- und Flagship-Projekte sowie Koordinations- und Support-Tätigkeiten in den Bereichen Rohstoffe, Prozesse, Produkte bzw. Aufnahme in den Markt. Die Einreichfrist endet am 3. September 2020.
Joint Call for Proposals: Positive Energy Districts and Neighbourhoods (JPI Urban Europe)
ForscherInnen und PraktikerInnen sind eingeladen, F&E-Projekte mit maximal 2 Jahren Dauer zur Implementierung von "Positive Energy Districts and Neighbourhoods" bis 24. September 2020 einzureichen.
