Mit dem Förderinstrument „Innovationslabore“ unterstützt das Bundesministerium für Innovation, Mobilität und Infrastruktur (BMIMI, vormals BMK) die systematische und langfristige Entwicklung von innovationsfördernden Gestaltungsräumen für neue Ideen und Konzepte um die Praxiswirksamkeit von Forschung zu erhöhen.

Driving Urban Transitions Partnership – 1. Ausschreibung startet am 21. September

Die neue transnationale Transition-Initiative "Clean Energy Transition Partnership" (CETPartnership) öffnet am 14. September 2022 den ersten Joint Call. Adressiert werden die noch offenen Herausforderungen für eine europäische nachhaltige Energiezukunft. Ein Schwerpunkt liegt auf integrierten, regionalen und lokalen Energiesystemen, die hohe Anteile Erneuerbarer Energie erzeugen, zur Verfügung stellen und nutzen.

Bioeconomy Austria

Bioeconomy Austria ist das Tor zur österreichischen Bioökonomie und ein wachsendes Netzwerk aus den Regionen, Clustern & Plattformen, Wirtschaft, Forschung, Politik und Gesellschaft. Ziele: Wissen austauschen, Synergien nutzen, Kreisläufe schließen, gemeinsame Projekte entlang der Wertschöpfungsketten entwickeln und umsetzen, mit erstem Schwerpunkt auf Holz.

Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU) 2024

Die Europäische Partnerschaft Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU) hat das Arbeitsprogramm für 2024 veröffentlicht. Insgesamt werden in 18 Themenbereichen 213 Millionen Euro für die Förderung wettbewerbsfähiger, kreislauforientierter biobasierter Industrien und Forschung in Europa bereitgestellt. Einreichfrist: 18. September 2024.

Future Quarter - Way to an energy-plus quarter in Vienna

Development of transferable concepts for energy-plus quarters as substantial preparatory work for the implementation of an energy showcase quarter in Vienna based on six concrete areas. The support for the broad application of the concept shall be a precursor for the realisation of future energy showcase quarters in Vienna and other cities.

EdeN - Efficient decentralized sustainable food production

In the EdeN project, a decentralized vertical farming concept is extended to meet circular economy requirements. The combination of vertical farming with closed energy-, resource- and distribution-loops is a possible disruptive concept in food production. The developed concepts will be accessible and transferable to other food producers, and its limitations will be pointed out.

CICA - Chlorella in circular aquaculture

Project CICA allows the detailed investigation of fish wastewater and its treatment by algae cultivation, as well as the design and construction of a special photobioreactor to purify wastewater and produce fish at the same time.

F4WM - Fit4WienerMission

Vorbereitung auf die EU Urban Mission durch Aktualisierung von Zielen und Strategien (Smart City Wien Rahmenstrategie, Klima-Roadmap), Erarbeitung eines Manuals für klimaneutrale Wiener Grätzl und Grobkonzepte für die Beteiligung von Bürger:innen (Klima-Bürger:innenrat) und Wirtschaftstreibenden (Klima-Agreements), sowie einer stadtinternen Kapazitäten- und Strukturplanung.

F4WM - Fit4WienerMission

Preparation for the EU Urban Mission by updating goals and strategies (Smart City Wien Framework strategy, Climate-Roadmap), developing a manual for climate-neutral Viennese neighbourhoods and concepts for the participation of citizens (Climate Citizens' Council) and businesses (Climate Agreements), as well as a city-internal capacity and structural planning.

TANZ - Sondierung Reallabor: Tourismus als Chance für die Energiewende im Pinzgau

Sondierung für ein regionales Reallabor zur Beschleunigung der Klimaneutralität Österreichs 2040 in der Tourismusregion Pinzgau. Basierend auf zahlreichen Vorarbeiten wurden Realtests für die Innovationsfelder Sektorkopplung, Energiegemeinschaften und Nachhaltige Wärmelösungen konzipiert, die Organisationsstruktur des Reallabors erarbeitet und relevante Akteur:innen aktiv eingebunden.

TANZ - Exploration of a regional living lab: Tourism as an opportunity for the energy transition in Pinzgau

Exploration for a regional living lab to accelerate Austria's climate neutrality in 2040 in the tourism region of Pinzgau. Based on numerous preliminary works, model solutions (“Realtests”) for the innovation fields of sector coupling, energy communities and sustainable heating solutions were designed, the organisational structure of the living lab is developed and stakeholders were actively involved.

DigiTech4CE - Digital key technologies for circular production

DigitTech4CE analysed industrial cycles in discrete, digitalised production; their participants, advantages/disadvantages and framework conditions, as well as the key digital technologies required. Fields of action were developed, according to the needs of Austrian industry. Recommendations for action serve the development of sustainable, Austrian production that builds and expands competitiveness through circular innovations.

Reallabor WEIZplus (Weiz)

Die Region WEIZplus strebt die klimaneutrale Transformation ihres Energiesystems durch eine regional getragene Energiegenossenschaft an, die Projekte entwickelt, finanziert und umsetzt. Das Innovationslabor EnergieRaumLabor fördert diese Umstellung durch unterstützende Maßnahmen und dient als Reallabor mit großem Übertragungspotenzial für Österreich. Das Leitprojekt "Fossilfree-4Industry" zeigt mit fünf Modelllösungen den Ausstieg der Industrie und Gewerbebetriebe aus der fossilen Energieversorgung.

KRAISBAU – Entwicklung von KI-Werkzeugen für eine Transformation zu einer Kreislaufwirtschaft entlang des Lebenszyklus von Gebäuden

Das Leitprojekt KRAISBAU ist eine Kollaboration von 32 Partnern zur Realisierung einer nachhaltigen und zirkulären Bauwirtschaft. Das Projekt fokussiert auf die Entwicklung und Implementierung AI-gestützter Lösungen im zirkulären Bauen entlang der gesamten Wertschöpfungskette. Die gewonnenen Erkenntnisse werden durch Factsheets, Roadmaps und Schulungen disseminiert, mit dem Auftrag, skalierbare und effiziente Ansätze für den Gebäudebestand zu etablieren.

KRAISBAU - Development of AI tools for a transformation to a circular economy along the life cycle of buildings

The BMK lead project KRAISBAU is a collaboration of 32 partners for the realization of a sustainable and circular construction industry. The project focuses on the development and implementation of AI-supported solutions in circular construction along the entire value chain. The knowledge gained is disseminated through factsheets, roadmaps and training courses with the aim of establishing scalable and efficient approaches for existing buildings.

PVReValue – Holistic recycling of photovoltaic modules

The PVReValue research project is pursuing a new approach to the holistic recycling of photovoltaic modules, based on an innovative multi-stage composite separation process that is being developed in the course of the project. The multi-stage separation process and the novel combination of modern treatment processes are expected to achieve a recycling rate of more than 95 wt.-%.

FTI-Initiativen

Die unterschiedlichen FTI-Initiativen des BMIMI setzen Impulse in den vier FTI-Schwerpunkten Mobilitätswende, Energiewende, Kreislaufwirtschaft und Klimaneutrale Stadt, damit durch Erforschung und Entwicklung von Technologien, Systemintegration und Digitalisierung die Umsetzung neuer Lösungen möglich wird.
