Prozessüberwachung und Recycling von biogenen Verbundwerkstoffen mit Funktionsintegration für Flugzeuginnenausstattungen. Um die Nachhaltigkeit im Bereich von Composite Werkstoffen zu erhöhen werden im Projekt unterschiedliche Technologien entlang eines Produktlebenszyklus untersucht, um deren möglichen Beitrag zur Ressourcenschonung zu ermittelt. Dazu unter anderem Materialien, die durch Nutzung vorhandener Landwirtschaftlicher Abfälle hergestellt werden können, hinsichtlich deren Einsetzbarkeit in Flugzeugkabinen.

CircuPack - Recyclable materials for food packaging with a low ecological footprint

PolyBacTex - Converting mixed textile waste into recycled fibres and cellulose for sustainable production

The project PolyBacTex is developing a solution for recycling of used mixed textiles by chemically separating and biotechnologically upgrading the individual fibre types (cellulose and polyester). This allows cellulose fibres to be recovered and returned to the fibre production process.

AFOM - Automatisierte Fehler- & Optimierungsanalyse durch Messdatenerfassung

Im Projekt sollen Methoden entwickelt werden, um aus den Messwertverläufen Informationen über den Betrieb sowie Betriebsveränderungen zu erkennen und einer Fehlerbehandlung zuführen zu können. Durch die Einbindung von BIM-Daten aus dem Gebäude sollen entsprechende Modelle zur Validierung der Heizung, Lüftung, Klima (HLK)-Netzwerke erzeugt werden, welche zur Analyse herangezogen werden.

AFOM - Automatic failure and optimisation analysis by data-acquisition

In the project, methods will be developed for analysing measured value curves to detect changes in operation or failures in the system. By integrating BIM data of buildings, corresponding models will be generated to validate the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC)-networks, which will be used for analysis.

RERA-pro - Integrierte Reststoff Bioraffinerie – Hochwertige Produkte aus Biomüll herstellen. Ganz ohne Emissionen

Im Projekt RERA-pro wird die heterotrophe Algenfermentation in eine Biomüll-Biogasanlage mit Gärrestaufbereitung integriert. Dadurch wird eine integrierte Reststoff Bioraffinerie geschaffen, die hochwertiges Protein für Aquakulturen wesentlich kostengünstiger als bisher zur Verfügung stellt.

3DFabBio - Maßgeschneiderte 3D gefertigte Produkte aus bio-basierten erneuerbaren Rohstoffen

Das Ziel des 3DFabBio-Projekts ist die Etablierung einer neuen Klasse, auf nachwachsender Chemie aufbauenden, Formulierungen für lichtbasierte 3D Druckverfahren. Die zurzeit kommerziell erhältlichen Formulierungen für Lithographie-basierte additive Fertigungstechnologien (L-AMTs) basieren hauptsächlich auf petrochemischen Produkten der Lackindustrie.

CO2 neuBau - Die CO2 neutrale Baustelle: Ein Beitrag zum Klimaschutz der österreichischen Bauwirtschaft

Identifikation aller auf Baustellen anfallenden direkten und indirekten CO2- bzw. THG-Emissionen. Analyse der Rahmenbedingungen und Technologien, um Möglichkeiten für deren Steuerung aufzuzeigen. Gleichzeitig wurden Mehrwerte wie beispielsweise Kosten- und Nutzen-Vorteile einer CO2-neutralen Baustelle aufgezeigt und quantifiziert.

Identification of all direct and indirect CO2, respectively, GHG emissions generated at construction sites. Analysis of the framework conditions and technologies towards demonstrating the options for their control. In parallel, added values, such as cost-benefit advantages of a CO2-neutral construction site, were outlined and quantified.

Stanz+ - Ein innovatives, energie-flexibles Plusenergiequartier - der Ortskern der Gemeinde Stanz

Stanz+ arbeitet an der Umsetzung einer Energiestrategie für strukturschwache Gemeinden mit konkreten Maßnahmen zur Revitalisierung und Nachverdichtung im Gebäudebestand sowie der Integration erneuerbarer Energieträger am Beispiel der Gemeinde Stanz im Mürztal (Obersteiermark). Das Projekt beinhaltet multiplizierbare Ansätze in Richtung Energieautonomie, hybride Nutzung von Energienetzen zur Flexibilisierung und energetisch gedachte Dorfkernbelebung unter Einbeziehung der NutzerInnen in die „Rural Pioneers Community“ zur Nutzung von Energiedienstleistungen.

Stanz+ - An innovative, energy-flexible plus-energy district - the centre of the village Stanz

Stanz+ is working on the implementation of an energy strategy for structurally weak municipalities with specific measures for revitalisation and re-densification in the building stock as well as the integration of renewable energy sources in the municipality of Stanz im Mürztal (Styria). The project includes multipliable approaches towards energy autonomy, hybrid use of energy networks for flexible usage and an energetic revitalisation of the village centre with the involvement of users in the "Rural Pioneers Community" for the usage of energy services.

BIMBestand - BIM-basiertes Bestandsmanagement von Gebäuden

Ziel war es, Informations­anforderungen und Prozessbeschreibungen für die Anwendung von TGA-BIM-Modellen im Facility Management abzuleiten und diese Modelle im Sinne einer durchgängigen Datenkette und Open BIM gewerk­übergreifend über den gesamten Lebenszyklus einzusetzen. Dafür wurden software­technische Lösungen zur Nutzung des offenen IFC-Datenaustausch­formates in der Open-Source-Plattform SIMULTAN und in Softwaresystemen der operativen Betriebsführung entwickelt und anhand von vier typischen Use-Cases getestet und evaluiert.

BIMBestand - BIM-based management of existing buildings

The objective of this research project was to develop information requirements and process descriptions for the application of BIM models related to building services in facility management and to demonstrate the lifecycle-oriented use of these models in an open BIM environment. For this purpose, software solutions for the use of IFC in the open-source platform SIMULTAN and building management software were developed and evaluated on the basis of four typical use cases.

Energy2POG - Hybrid Energy Cluster Pogusch - Renewable energies and cost-efficient operation

The aim of the project was the design, optimisation and demonstration of a hybrid energy supply system as well as optimised material flows for a restaurant and hotel business in an exposed location. The concept allows the integration of material flows into the heat and energy supply system.
