e80^3-Buildings - "reconstruction concepts towards energy plus house standard with prefabricated active roof and facade elements, integrated home automation and network integration"
The project aims for highly-efficient renovation of existing buildings and settlements in urban areas. The main focus are buildings that were built between 1950 and 1980.
Goal of this subproject was to select the building with the highest potential within a building-portfolio. Therefore a criteria catalogue was developed, which is generally applicable.
Based on the selection of suitable demonstration projects in Subproject 1 an innovative concept for passive and active building envelopes and energy supply of so called "Plus Energy Buildings" (renovation) has been developed.
The main objective of the key project "e80^3" was to develop high-performance renovation concepts focusing on plus-energy-buildings. Afterwards these concepts were realized in at least one or two demonstration-projects.
Alongside the realisation of the plus energy building in Kapfenberg, a demonstration project is scheduled to be created that accomplishes an economically viable and technically innovative solution for the future.
The content of subproject 5 was the analysis of energy- as well as building-biology-related issues for the evaluation and quality management of the demo-project in Kapfenberg, which involves a high-quality refurbishment to a plus energy house within the program "Haus der Zukunft - Building of Tomorrow". Within this process the user acceptance before, during and after the renovation was elevated and this will be processed for upcoming projects. The environmental quality of the building regarding the choice of materials and measures during the construction phase and the subsequent use of the building was assessed with the help of the TQB-planning and evaluation tool.
E_PROFIL is a set of methods (an IT-supported toolkit) for the elaboration of neighbourhood profiles. The aim of the project is to facilitate an energy and resource efficient development in the planning practice of Austrian cities. ECC – EnergyCityConcepts – Development of a methodology and concept for the implementation of sustainable energy systems in cities by the example of Gleisdorf and Salzburg
In the context of this project two concrete model regions (small city Gleisdorf and urban city quarter Salzburg-Schallmoos) will be developed and tested with new methodical approaches (interdisciplinary urban and regional energy planning, modeling and simulation). An ambitious political commitment of both model regions is a 100% renewable or rather CO2-neutral energy supply.
Main results of "Building of Tomorrow" are edited for the target group "children and teenagers". The result is an attractive exposition in the "ZOOM Kindermuseum".
Step by step methodology for the development of future markets by the introduction of eco-efficient product service systems
The purpose of the project is the development of an ECO-Mover, an innovative photovoltaic-technology together with corresponding system components. The entire R&D process encloses the energetic optimisation of the photovoltaic technology as well as the development of essential components.
