The Joint Programming Platform Smart Energy Systems will announce the MICall20 for cooperative RDI projects on digital transformation for green energy transition. Also the networking and matchmaking process of JPP SES Digital Platform Provider (DPP) and Living Lab Network (LL) will be launched. An outlook on potential new initiatives and co-creation and matchmaking will be facilitated.

RCC – Reduced Carbon Concrete: Implementation of CO2-redudes concrete in construction sites

The objectives of the present project "RCC - Reduced Carbon Concrete" were to test the current knowledge about the temperature-dependent curing processes of performance concretes by concrete work on large components on the construction site, under summer and winter conditions, and in precast production. The results will be incorporated into construction practice and standardization work.

Furthermore the effects of these building-mounted SWT on the building, the resident people and the direct environment were analysed.

ECC – EnergyCityConcepts – Development of a methodology and concept for the implementation of sustainable energy systems in cities by the example of Gleisdorf and Salzburg

In the context of this project two concrete model regions (small city Gleisdorf and urban city quarter Salzburg-Schallmoos) will be developed and tested with new methodical approaches (interdisciplinary urban and regional energy planning, modeling and simulation). An ambitious political commitment of both model regions is a 100% renewable or rather CO2-neutral energy supply.

In the "Storage Cascade MZ" project, battery storage systems are implemented on different grid levels in the city of Mürzzuschlag, whose measurement data enable an integrated grid monitoring and create the basis for a future expansion of the nominal power of photovoltaic (pv) systems.
