Skiathos Palace Hotel, Skiathos Island, Greece

Towards a GREEner Challenge and Evolution in the Framework of the Circular Economy

Content Description

The 18th European Roundtable on Sustainable Consumption and Production (ERSCP 2017) is being built upon successful previous ERSCP conferences, such as the ones in Istanbul (Turkey), Bregenz (Austria), Delft (Netherlands) and Portoroz (Slovenia).

The ERSCP is one of Europe's most remarkable conferences in its field and has taken place periodically since 1994. ERSCPs promotes discussions about the key issues in sustainable consumption and production; the exchange of thoughts, knowledge, experiences and SCP proposals; and the creation of a European (also worldwide) community of research and practice in sustainable consumption and production.

The conference Themes & Topics will focus in contributions and case studies towards "A GREEner Challenge and Evolution in the Framework of the Circular Economy.

The main goal of the 18th ERSCP will be to encourage discussion amongst stakeholders involved in sustainable consumption and production:

  • businesses,
  • public institutions,
  • universities,
  • institutes and research centers,
  • NGOs,
  • SMEs,
  • professional associations,
  • decision-makers, etc.

Side event "Accelerating urban transition – how to integrate relevant stakeholders"

The Austrian Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology and the StadtLabor in Graz – would like to invite you to the special side event "Accelerating urban transition – how to integrate relevant stakeholders".

The format will be interactive and challenging. Scientific presentations and reports on successful case studies and – most important - room for discussion, because we think there is a lot that still has to be worked out. And this will only be successful if YOU contribute.

Please send your ideas or contributions to hans.schnitzer@stadtlaborgraz.at. We will collect your input and do our best to design a vibrating event that is worth attending.
