Wood Plastic Composites - New property profile by refiner fibres
The mechanical properties and thus the application area of wood plastic composites with a wood content > 60 % shall be explicit increased by means of long wood fibres. The realization of a technological direct feeding system in extrusion process will enable an innovation jump of this wood like material.

In the multitude of digital possibilities, it is very difficult to maintain an overview, to assess trends and potentials, and to recognize correlations. This report therefore aims to describe the current state of the art and the market assessment of promising digital technologies. Information is provided on concrete use cases, added value and challenges of the respective technologies. The analyses presented serve to assess the potential and set the strategic course for the integration of the currently most important digital technologies in the construction and real estate industry.
Eco-textiles - from the eco-niche into the trend market!
Optimum communication strategies and motives for the purchase of eco-textiles by specific target groups are investigated. The results are reviewed with respect to the transferability to other branches of sustainable production and marketing. Aim of the project is to foster the supply of eco-textile products and thereby promoting the Austrian eco-textile producers and retailers.

Serial refurbishment for buildings in timber construction
Refurbishment of single- and two-familiy houses in timber construction in Austria has a large CO2-saving potential. To meet the special requirements for the refurbishment of timber constructions, a concept for the renovation to passive house respectively plus-energy house standard with special focus on ecologic construction materials was developed in this project.
