Performance test protocol for small scale CHP units (2015)
Der Report soll als Richtlinie für die erfolgreiche Planung, Evaluierung, Inbetriebnahme und Betrieb neuer kommerzieller small scale KWK Anlagen dienen. Er soll helfen, die Missverständnisse zwischen allen Involvierten zu klären. Das "Performance Test Protocol" (PTP) soll ein Teil des Vertrages zwischen Hersteller und Anwender sein. Es informiert über Spezifikationen der Anlage, wie z.B. Messpunkte, Input, Output, Massen- und Energieströme. Es sind die Testbedingungen definiert.

IEA Bioenergy Task 39: Commercialising Conventional and Advanced Transport Biofuels from Biomass and Other Renewable Feedstocks (Working Period 2019 - 2021)
IEA Bioenergy Task 39 deals with the commercialization of conventional and advanced biofuels, including innovative raw materials, their economic, environmental and social assessment and the investigation of relevant policies. The Triennium 2019-2021 made findings from countries with a committed biofuels policy accessible to Austria, and success stories of Austrian industry, research and policy were promoted internationally.

IEA Bioenergy Task 40: Sustainable Bioenergy Markets and International Trade: Securing Supply and Demand
Austrian participation in the IEA Bioenergy Task 40 consortium in the triennium 2016-2018: There was an intensive networking through contributions and scientific work in task meetings and workshops, in subtasks and in intertask projects on the topic "international bioenergy trade ". Lessons learned have been disseminated internationally and nationally and are available for free download in English.
IEA Bioenergy Task 37: Energy from Biogas and Landfill Gas (Working Period 2013 - 2015)
The Austrian representatives participated in the expert group „IEA Bioenergy Task 37 – Energy from Biogas“ for the period 2013-2015. Their main tasks was the work on the technical brochures on biogas plant monitoring, digestate processing and the evaluation of pretreatment technologies. In addition, they participated in the knowledge exchange of the participating countries.
IEA Bioenergy Task 33: Gasification of Biomass and Waste (Working Period 2016 - 2018)
The objectives of Task 33 are to monitor, review and exchange information on biomass and waste gasification research, development, and demonstration and to promote cooperation among the participating countries and industry to eliminate technological impediments to the advancement of thermal gasification of biomass and waste.
