Aufbauend auf die im Rahmen der Projekte "solarCity" und "Eco Building" bzw. "Total Quality Bewertung" gemachten Erfahrungen sollen qualitative und quantitative Kriterien für eine nachhaltige Stadtentwicklung bei gleichzeitig optimaler Qualität der Einzelobjekte am Beispiel Großraum Linz entwickelt werden.
Sustainable ventilation systems in multi story residential buildings in the conflict areas of hygiene and costs
The goal of this project was to develop guidelines for hygienic and cost-efficient mechanical ventilation systems in residential buildings, in which maintenance and cleaning demands are described. These guidelines are based on existing literature as well as practical experience of the property owners, finally they are based on results of hygienic measurements in existing ventilation systems conducted in this research project.

Projektziel ist die Aufbereitung und Vermittlung von Themen des nachhaltigen Bauens für Berufsbildende Höhere Schulen und Berufsschulen mittels unterstützender Online-Wissens- und Lernumgebung. Gemeinsam mit LehrerInnen aus verschiedenen Schulen sollen modular und sequentiell aufgebaute Unterrichtsmaterialien erstellt und erprobt werden, welche im Unterricht als Erweiterung und Anreicherung verwendet werden können.
Thermocollect - Solar active facade system, using direct solar radiation for temperature conditioning of buildings
The new Thermocollect Energy-Facade System allows to utilize the solar radiation that hits the facade on a on-demand-basis. The system works with a mechanically active mechanism which selectively gathers the solar radiation and additionally can be used as a cooling and heating system according to the local requirements.

Print and media production at the media and communications company gugler GmbH are currently being optimized according to Cradle to Cradle (C2C) criteria. Energy efficient, resource conserving and differentiated renovation of historic European building stocks (ReCoRe)
The project goal was the development of an integrated, long term and life cycle oriented approach to sustainable modernisation of historical building stocks. Within this project the partners used common objectives and planning tools and followed a common procedure in order to develop a specific national application which results from a historical, technical, social and cultural understanding of the specific national stock fragments.
