Visualisierungen der Technologiekooperationsprogramme der IEA 2020
Im Rahmen der Forschungskooperation der IEA findet eine weltweite Zusammenarbeit für die Energieversorgung der Zukunft statt. Auf einer Graphen-Datenbank basierende Visualisierungen zeigen die umfangreichen Aktivitäten der einzelnen Technologiekooperationsprogramme (TCPs) auf. Die Kooperationen der Staaten zu einzelnen Themen werden so ebenfalls gut sichtbar.
IEA Bioenergy Technology Collaboration Programme (IEA Bioenergy TCP)
IEA Bioenergy’s vision is to achieve a substantial bioenergy contribution to future global energy demands by accelerating the production and use of environmentally sound, socially accepted and cost-competitive bioenergy on a sustainable basis, thus providing increased security of supply whilst reducing greenhouse gas emissions from energy use.
IEA Bioenergie (TCP)
Das Ziel von IEA Bioenergy ist die Förderung des Einsatzes umweltverträglicher und konkurrenzfähiger Bioenergie auf der Basis einer nachhaltigen Nutzung von Biomasse zur Bereitstellung eines substanziellen Beitrags für eine zukunftsfähige Energieversorgung.
Mapping of IEA TCPs
Ziel des Projekts war, aktuelle Aktivitäten des IEA Energie Technologienetzwerks zu visualisieren und mögliche Lücken und Überschneidungen zu identifizieren. Das Mapping beinhaltet 185 laufende Tasks und Annexe (Stand September 2017).
IEA Bioenergy Task 32: Biomass Combustion and Co-firing (Working Period 2016 - 2018)
Austrian participation in Task 32 "Biomass Combustion and Cofiring" in the working period 2016-2018 and active participation in the defined Task main objectives, events and projects which are of relevance for Austria. International and national dissemination and networking activities for information exchange and for the initiation of cooperation.
IEA Bioenergy Task 37: Energy from Biogas (Working Period 2016 - 2018)
Participation as Austrian representative in the expert group during the period 2016-2018 in order to achieve knowledge-exchange, establishment of technical reports and recommendations, as well as dissemination of the gained information to Austrian stakeholders.
IEA Bioenergy Task 29: Sozio-ökonomische Aspekte von Bioenergiesystemen
Das Ziel von Task 29 (Sozio-ökonomische Aspekte von Bioenergiesystemen) ist die Analyse der wirtschaftlichen und sozialen Aspekte der Bioenergienutzung, die Entwicklung und Verbesserung der Untersuchungsmethoden, sowie die Förderung des Austausches von Forschungsergebnissen und anderen Informationen auf diesem Gebiet. Darauf basierend sollen Instrumente und Handlungsempfehlungen für den verstärkten Einsatz von Bioenergie erarbeitet werden.
IEA Bioenergy Task 34 - Pyrolyse
Österreich nimmt im Rahmen des PyNe-Projekts der Europäischen Kommission am Task 34 (Pyrolyse) im Rahmen des Implementing Agreements Bioenergie teil. Unter Pyrolyse versteht man in diesem Zusammenhang die thermische Aufschließung von Biomasse bei ca. 500° C zur Erzeugung von Pyrolyseöl, einem flüssigen, energetisch und chemisch verwertbaren Produkt.
IEA Bioenergy Task 45: Climate and Sustainability Effects of Bioenergy within the Circular Bioeconomy (Working period 2025 - 2027)
Promoting sustainable bioenergy as part of the circular bioeconomy: Task 45 participation aims to improve understanding of the environmental, social, and economic impacts of bioenergy. The focus includes regional differences and the development of robust impact assessment methods to support decision-making by stakeholders such as communities, businesses, and governments.
IEA Bioenergie Task 42: Bioraffinerien in der Bioökonomie der Zukunft (Arbeitsperiode 2022 - 2024)
Ziel des IEA Bioenergy Tasks 42 ist es, die Markteinführung umweltfreundlicher, sozialverträglicher und wirtschaftlicher Bioraffinerien zu erleichtern. Neben der Netzwerkarbeit sind die Interaktion zwischen nationalen und internationalen Stakeholdern sowie die Dissemination der geneierten Ergebnisse über Workshops, Präsentationen, Publikationen etc. wichtige Aktivitäten.
IEA Bioenergy Task 37: Energie aus Biogas (Arbeitsperiode 2022 - 2024)
Die Biogastechnologie ist mittlerweile in vielen Teilnehmerländern des Tasks weit verbreitet. Neben dem allgemeinen Wissensaustausch und des Hervorhebens von Best Practice Beispielen, liegt der Fokus der Arbeiten in diesem Triennium auf der Rolle von Biogas bei der Dekarbonisierung der Industrie und der Landwirtschaft, Biogas im Energiesystem sowie Prozessoptimierung im Bereich der Emissionen und der Prozessstabilität.
IEA-Bioenergy Task 33: Vergasung von Biomasse und Abfall (Arbeitsperiode 2022 - 2024)
Das Ziel von IEA Bioenergy Task 33 ist es, Informationen über die Erzeugung und Nutzung von erneuerbaren Heiz- bzw. Synthesegasen aus Biomasse und Abfall für die Erzeugung von Strom, Wärme, Biobrennstoffen und Biochemikalien auszutauschen. Vor allem Informationen über F&E Programme, Implementierung und Marktpotenzial stehen im Fokus, um technische und andere Barrieren zu überwinden.

IEA-Bioenergy Task 42: Biorefining in a Circular Economy (Working Period 2016 - 2018)
The task deals with the analysis and dissemination of relevant information concerning biorefineries. In the last period the focus was on the development of an open-access tool for the TEE-evaluation (Technical/Economic/Environmental Assessment) of biorefineries.

IEA Bioenergy Task 39: Commercialising Conventional and Advanced Transport Biofuels from Biomass and Other Renewable Feedstocks (Working Period 2019 - 2021)
IEA Bioenergy Task 39 deals with the commercialization of conventional and advanced biofuels, including innovative raw materials, their economic, environmental and social assessment and the investigation of relevant policies. The Triennium 2019-2021 made findings from countries with a committed biofuels policy accessible to Austria, and success stories of Austrian industry, research and policy were promoted internationally.

Relevant international trade currents of biomass for Austria as well as frame conditions for sustainable use of biomass have been analysed and documented. One of the key issues was to analyse certification procedures for sustainable bioenergy products.
