Die Ergebnisse aus Machbarkeitsstudie und Pilotprojekt zum "nachaltigen Krankenhaus" wurden in einer breit gefächerten Transferstrategie durch zielgruppenspezifische Impulse verbreitet. Der Transfer nutzte eine langjährige, intensive, von der Fabrik der Zukunft geförderte Kooperation zwischen Pilotkrankenhaus, Wiener Krankenanstaltenverbund, einem Berliner Krankenhausträger sowie einem interdisziplinären Wissenschaftsteam.

The project at hand is the continuation of the last years project of the same name. It is the aim of the project to develop an integrated, IT-based management model for a meat processing enterprise taking into account the value chain as well as the regional environment.

The method Balanced Scorecard was used to build a company-wide management-system which facilitates an easy communication and a focused and controllable implementation of the defined strategies (strategies for the company, business segments and defined areas of knowledge). Following two successful "Fabrik der Zukunft" projects on the theme of sustainable hospitals ("Feasibility study" 2004-2005 and "Testing in a pilot hospital" 2006-2008) the results and key findings were disseminated by a diversified dissemination strategy. The project was based on an intensive and successful more than four-year cross-disciplinary cooperation involving the pilot hospital (SMZ Otto Wagner Spital), the Viennese Hospital Association, the Immanuel Diakonie Group (Berlin) and an interdisciplinary team of researchers.
