Annex 18 Task 2 provides an overview of the methods, applications and requirements of digital twins in different industrial sectors. The potential of these solutions is evaluated and business cases and recommendations for action are developed. The interdisciplinarity and the international consortium enable the development of a network of experts from research and industry.
