Zahlreiche Verkehrsflächen im städtischen Umfeld werden nur einen geringen Teil der Zeit tatsächlich genutzt. Inhalt dieses Projekt war, die Möglichkeit zu untersuchen, solche Flächen durch Integration von Photobioreaktoren zusätzlich zur Produktion von Biomasse zu nutzen und die Systeme möglichst vollständig in die urbanen Stoff- und Energiekreisläufe einzubinden.
The Green Parking Space – Utilization of urban parking areas for production of biomass
Many traffic areas in urban environments are actually used as such only a small fraction of the time. Subject of this project was to investigate the possibility of using those areas by additional integration of photobioreactors for the production of biomass, integrating such systems to the maximum extent into the urban substance and energy cycles.

In diesem Projekt wurden BIM-basierte Planungsmethoden entwickelt, die den Einfluss von Planungsentscheidungen auf die Energieeffizienz quantitativ bewertbar und im Managementprozess steuerbar machen.

A proactive participation process aims at informing developers and investors as well as other stakeholders about the realization of PlusEnergy concepts.
REC-Businesspark - Erforschung des ersten österreichischen Erneuerbare-Energiegemeinschaften Gewerbe- und Industrieparks
Im Zuge des Projekts erfolgte die Konzeptionierung eines Zero-Emission- bzw. Plus-Energie-Gewerbeparks in Weiz mit Fokus auf Photovoltaik und Brennstoffzelle in Kombination mit einer Erneuerbaren Energiegemeinschaft (E-EGe). Durch die Gründung auf der "grünen Wiese" können sämtliche Strukturen entsprechend den Anforderungen der E-EGe geschaffen werden.
Housing 4.0 - digital platform for affordable living
The main aim of this project is the development of an integrated framework for the digital platform "Housing 4.0"; thus supporting integrated planning and project delivery through coupling various digital tools and databases. Thereby, the potentials of BIM for modular, off-site housing assembly in order to improve planning and construction processes, reduce cost and construction time and allow for mass customization will be explored. The novel approach in this project is user-involvement; which has been neglected in recent national and international projects on off-site, modular construction, supported by digital technologies.
Plus Energie Melk - Pfad für die Realisierung von Plus-Energie-Arealen in Melk
Die Stadt Melk hat sich als Ziel gesetzt, eine Vorreiterrolle im Bereich erneuerbare Energieversorgung und Klimaschutz einzunehmen. Dabei wird in einer Initiative angestrebt, Plus-Energie Areale umzusetzen. In zwei Stadtentwicklungsprojekten wird geprüft, unter welchen Rahmenbedingungen, technischen und organisatorischen Lösungen Plus-Energie Areale realisierbar sind. Ein proaktiver Beteiligungsprozess zielt darauf ab, Bauherrn und Investoren sowie andere Stakeholder von der Realisierung der Plus-Energie Konzepte zu informieren.
