Smart Gas Grids - Intelligente Gasnetze der Zukunft
Im Rahmen dieser Studie wurden die konzeptionellen Grundlagen für intelligente Gasnetze erarbeitet sowie konkrete Ansatzpunkte für die Umsetzung von einzelnen Smart Grid Elementen in den bestehenden Netzen identifiziert. Weiters wurden, unter Einbindung von relevanten Stakeholdern, der Entwurf eines Visions- und Strategiepapiers sowie einer "Strategic Research Agenda" erstellt.

The basic principles of "Smart Gas Grids" will be investigated and practical issues and deployment strategies will be studied in detail. Furthermore, together with the relevant stakeholders, a "Vision- and Strategy Paper" and a draft for a "Strategic Research Agenda" will be developed.
Distributed generation and renewables - Power Quality
The project will demonstrate how the integration of power electronics equipment in Distributed Generation (DG) units can actively improve the stability and quality of supply of electric power distribution networks in order to increase the penetration of DG and Renewable Energy Sources.
Eco-Checkers - An exhibition of ZOOM Children's Museum
Main results of "Building of Tomorrow" are edited for the target group "children and teenagers". The result is an attractive exposition in the "ZOOM Kindermuseum".
