"Biotope City" is an overall concept for the implementation of comprehensive urban greening with the aim of using the regenerative mechanisms of nature. With this approach, quality of life is to be comprehensively, sustainably and cost-effectively increased and resilience against extreme weather events in cities will be improved. The project aims to generate realistic components of a "construction manual" for the green city of the future, which are generalizable and transferable.

Noch nicht beforschte, bauteilaktivierte Gebäude in möglichst allen Bundesländern und Anwendungskategorien werden einem Monitoring unterzogen, welches neben Betriebsdaten auch Erfahrungen von Beteiligten miteinbindet. Ziel dieser Untersuchung ist es, die unterschiedlichsten Anwendungen der Technologie „Bauteilaktivierung“ allgemein zu betrachten sowie mit Hilfe von geeigneten Bewertungskriterien die Pilotprojekte zu bewerten und miteinander zu vergleichen.

Identifikation aller auf Baustellen anfallenden direkten und indirekten CO2- bzw. THG-Emissionen. Analyse der Rahmenbedingungen und Technologien, um Möglichkeiten für deren Steuerung aufzuzeigen. Gleichzeitig wurden Mehrwerte wie beispielsweise Kosten- und Nutzen-Vorteile einer CO2-neutralen Baustelle aufgezeigt und quantifiziert.

The research project Urban MoVe investigated to what extent private-law contracts (e.g. mobility contracts, funds, urban development contracts) are suitable as municipal planning and steering instruments for mobility at residential locations based on best practice analyzes and implemented national practical examples.

Digitale Informationsmodelle (DIM) spielen in urbanen Planungs- und Entscheidungsprozessen eine immer bedeutendere Rolle, angefangen bei einzelnen Gebäuden (Building Information Models, BIM) bis hin zu ganzen Städten (Urban Information Models, UIM). Für die Planung und Betriebsoptimierung von Plus-Energie-Quartieren könnten aus diesen bereits vorhandenen Modellen wertvolle Informationen gewonnen werden, sofern die entsprechenden Datenquellen und damit verbundenen Softwaretools richtig miteinander verknüpft würden.
