Der Transfer nutzte eine langjährige, intensive, von der Fabrik der Zukunft geförderte Kooperation zwischen Pilotkrankenhaus, Wiener Krankenanstaltenverbund, einem Berliner Krankenhausträger sowie einem interdisziplinären Wissenschaftsteam.

Basing on a model and indicators for valuing sustainability of companies quoted at the prime market of the Vienna stock exchange methods and instruments have been developed to analyse their performance. By the connecting step company data have been collected and analysed by four different methods (SPSS, EVA, SVA, MCA Outranking). On a 100 scores scale five companies exceeded barely the mark 70, 6 rank between 60 and 69 further 5 between 52 and 59. The aim is to launch a sustainability EASEY index 2004 or beginning 2005.

It is the aim of the project to develop a model of sustainability management for a company of the meat processing industry. The management model includes strategy development, goal setting, evaluation of achievements of goals and support to the operationalisation of the model in form of an IT-system. Implementierung eines Nachhaltigkeitsindex an der Wiener Börse
Aufbauend auf einem Bewertungsmodell und einem Indikatorenset zur Messung der Nachhaltigkeitsleistung von Unternehmen im Prime Market Segment der Wiener Börse (Vorgängerprojekt 2001/02) wurden Instrumente (u.a. Standardfragebogen) zur Unternehmensanalyse entwickelt, relevante Daten der Unternehmen ermittelt und anschließend mittels mehrere Methoden (SPSS, EVA, SVA, MCA Outranking) ausgewertet. Auf einer 100 Punkte Skala schafften 5 Unternehmen einen Wert über 70 Punkte, 6 einen zwischen 60 und 69 sowie weitere 5 zwischen 52 und 59. Damit gäbe es 16 potentielle Kandidaten für die Aufnahme in einen Nachhaltigkeitsindex. Ziel ist der Launch eines Nachhaltigkeitsindex im Lauf des Jahres 2004/2005.
