Building with recycros is working out basics in order to close the cycle of materials in the building sector as well as to increase the usage of recycled materials (recycros). The existing material cycles in the building sector are going to be analysed. Furthermore, there will be a catalogue presented, covering the actual situation of which materials are used in today´s engineering and how the waste is treated. The project will be completed with a summary of results and a proposal of concrete materials and constructional systems for the building project gugler.

Durch die Gründung der baubook GmbH 2008 wurden die beiden Bauprodukte-Datenbanken "öbox" und "ixbau.at" zusammengeführt. Die neue Datenbank baubook wurde um wesentliche Funktionalitäten (zentrale Produktdeklaration, Dezentralisierung der Qualitätssicherung) und Bereiche (Biomassekessel) erweitert.

Fundamentals on the development of ecological high class insulation composites made from natural plant fibres
Fundamentals on an insulation made from flax and hemp fibres which can be directly pargeted on the outer wall of a building had been developed. Only ecological glues and additives were used. Variations of the production and the additives optimized the technical properties. In addition flame proofing and thermal transfer were tested. After the laboratory tests a prototype finished the project.

Masszahlen für die Entsorgungseigenschaften von Gebäuden und Konstruktionen für die Lebenszyklusbewertung
Eine Bewertungsmethode für die Entsorgung von Baustoffen, Bauteilen und Gebäuden wird entwickelt. Die Ergebnisse werden in den OI3-Indikator und das Gebäudezertifizierungssystem TQB eingearbeitet. Die Haus-der-Zukunft-Demonstrationsprojekte werden nach der neuen Methode bewertet.
