Urbaner Kältebedarf in Österreich 2030/2050 (UKÖ 2030/2050)
Systematische Aufarbeitung des steigenden Kühlbedarfs und Darstellung der geographischen Verortung des Kältebedarfs in Österreich. Das Ergebnis dient als Entscheidungshilfe bei der Entwicklung von Klimaschutzmaßnahmen und Klimawandelanpassungsstrategien sowie eine Abschätzung zum Kältebedarf der Zukunft.

Recommendations for a consolidated Austrian research in the topic of "Smart Cities"
Based on a clear definition of the topics and focusing on energy relevant aspects the project will provide an overview on the present points of focus in research on "Smart Cities". Der Lösungsansatz umfasst dabei höchste Energieeffizienz- und Komfortanforderungen.

Differenzierung nach Gebäudetypen, Energieträger und Ermittlung der realen Treibhausgas-Emissionen. Vergleich der gemessenen Verbräuche zu Benchmark-Werten.

E_PROFIL - neighborhood profiles for optimized energy transformation processes
E_PROFIL is a set of methods (an IT-supported toolkit) for the elaboration of neighbourhood profiles. The aim of the project is to facilitate an energy and resource efficient development in the planning practice of Austrian cities. Furthermore, the project is an important asset for research and planning activities in Europe and can also be applied to other neighbourhoods.

A framework of assessment for the disposal of building materials, constructions and buildings will be developed. The results will be included in the OI3-indicator and in the building assessment tool Total Quality Building. Demonstration projects of the programme Building of Tomorrow will be assessed with the new method.

Development of innovative urban district heating systems by integration of long-term thermal storage, large scale heat pumps, large scale solar thermal installations, waste heat recovery and analysis and evaluation by simulation. The results of this project will provide templates for technology selection, system design and merit order for new urban district heating areas.
"gugler! build & print triple zero" - subproject 4: energy concept Gugler
The energy concept led Gugler in frame of the conversion and expansion of the company towards plus-energy standard. Significant measures ware a consequent maximum reduction of the energy demand, optimal utilisation of industrial waste-heat, maximum consumption of on-site energy sources, integrated energy production, ecologic load management with comprehensive response- and storage-techniques.

Enerspired Cities - open and harmonized infomation basis for energy oriented urban planning
In "Enerspired Cities" the concept for an automized junction of judicial secured access regulation to (geo-)energy data is elaborated. This will be adapted to the specific situations in the cities of Innsbruck, Salzburg and Vienna and implemented in dedicated pilot applications. The declared aim is the support of urban planning, monitoring and research by an easy and transparent access to base data coming from various sources for a wide range of users.
