Auszeichnung der ManagerInnen der "Haus der Zukunft Plus"-Leitprojekte

Beim abschließenden Treffen der "Haus der Zukunft Plus"-Leitprojekte wurden deren ManagerInnen von bmvit-Bereichs­leiter Ingolf Schädler im Namen des Programm-Management-Teams bestehend aus bmvit, aws, FFG und ÖGUT ausgezeichnet.

Nachhaltiges Bauen "Made in Austria" - Publikationen zum Monitoring der "Haus der Zukunft"-Demonstrationsgebäude

Mit dem Weißbuch 2015 werden die Ergebnisse des Projekts monitorPLUS und insbesondere die Demonstrationsbauten positiv an die Fachöffentlichkeit kommuniziert. Der Leitfaden "Monitoring von Plusenergiegebäuden" wurde gleichzeitig entwickelt und stellt eine praxistaugliche Anleitung zum Messen, Evaluieren und Auswerten von Gebäuden dar.

Plus-Energie-Gebäude durch ein adaptives Fassadensystem: thermocollect

Anhand eines Mustergebäudes wird dargestellt, wie ein altes Gebäude durch Einsatz des adaptiven Fassadensystems thermocollect zu einem Plusenergiegebäude saniert wird. Darüber hinaus wird die Wirksamkeit des Systems im Neubau und vor transparenten Bauteilen gezeigt und es werden Planungsunterlagen sowie ein detailliertes Arbeitshandbuch für Fachkräfte erstellt. Eco-Suite Hotel Salzburg

Das Kolpinghaus Salzburg, ein Jugendwohnheim und Sommerhotel, wurde um das Eco-Suite Hotel erweitert. Der Energieeinsatz im Erweiterungsbau wird mittels hoch effizienter Komponenten (wie LED-Beleuchtung) minimiert, vor Ort verfügbare Energiequellen - Abwasserabwärme und Sonnenlicht - werden genutzt und zur Abnahme der Plus-Energie-Wärme ein Vor-Ort-Energiesystem geschaffen. Für die Gäste des Hotels wird das Leben in einem Plusenergiegebäude erlebbar. Schriftenreihe 35/2017

e80^3 - Subprojekt 5: Monitoring und Verbreitung

Inhalt dieses Subprojektes waren energietechnische und baubiologische Begleituntersuchungen zur Evaluierung und Qualitätssicherung des hochwertig sanierten Demoprojektes zum Plusenergiegebäude in Kapfenberg. Dabei wurde auch die Benutzerakzeptanz vor, während und nach der Sanierung erhoben und für Nachfolgeprojekte aufbereitet.Die ökologische Qualität der Gebäude durch die Materialwahl bzw. Maßnahmen während der Errichtung sowie in der anschließenden Nutzung des Gebäudes werden mit Hilfe des TQB-Planungs- und Bewertungstools beurteilt. Schriftenreihe 43/2015

ArcheNEO - an energy-autonomous office park in Kitzbühel

ArcheNEO is a highly energy efficient office park, that produces more energy than it needs. It features an integrated energy concept that saves energy, uses renewable energies in combination with electric mobility and batteries as electricity storage and manages energy and was planned and built in Kitzbühel Oberndorf. The demonstration object will be multiplied and exported.

Solarenergie Urban - Analysis and evaluation of the economic, energetic and architectural quality of urban solar energy buildings

This project developed energetic and economic optimised planning criteria for multi storey residential buildings for the integration of renewable energy systems in the building shell. The field of new construction and refurbishment had been investigated.

Demonstration project LifeCycle Tower - batch-produced energy efficient timber/hybrid high-rise building system

The energy efficient building concept shall be tested with regard to its functional efficiency and real usage conditions. The demonstration project is based upon the results of previous research activities and shall be presented to a wider public. It shall illustrate the advantages of a batch-produced timber/hybrid high-rise building system which offers high quality of energy and resource efficiency.

ThinkHome: Improved energy efficiency based on artificial intelligence in future homes

ThinkHome is a networked controlled home of the future with the ultimate goal to optimise energy efficiency and user comfort at the same time. On this way, smart interaction between all building services is of utmost importance. Goals of this project include the definition of a comprehensive knowledge base that holds all relevant building data, the evaluation of control strategies based on artificial intelligence and machine learning, as well as agent based software engineering.

Development of the first legally compliant verification procedure for plus-energy buildings by a complete revision of the ÖNORMS

Within the project the current Austrian standards concerning building services and building physics have been revised and further developed to provide the designers with standardized calculation algorithms for the design of plus-energy buildings.

Aim of this research project is to identify the realizable reduction potential of energy consumption and CO2 emissions by refurbishment of the Austrian building stock towards plus energy building standard. Furthermore a construction-oriented manual will be supplied for interdisciplinary planning.

The tension between tradition and modernity is shown and exemplarily solved on the example of the historic farmhouse "vulgo Weber". The object was converted into an energy plus house with an exceptionally holistic approach and also thought as a demonstration object for a broad public through the touristic use of the house.

OptoControl - Modern sensor systems for energy conservation in buildings

The necessary efficiency of modern energy-self-sufficient buildings can only be achieved with intelligent control of the key parameters. The main focus of the project is the adaptation of optical sensor concepts for application in building technology. The future goal of the project is to supply the modern energy-plus-house with an appropriate and intelligent control device to minimize energy loss.

Poly2Facade - Innovative thermal self-regulating solar facades by means of functional polymers

The overall objective of the present project is to develop and implement an optimal overheating protection system based on polymeric materials. The aim is to reduce maximum room temperatures in buildings caused by facade integrated solar-thermal collectors in stagnation.

Based on the selection of suitable demonstration projects in Subproject 1 an innovative concept for passive and active building envelopes and energy supply of so called "Plus Energy Buildings" (renovation) has been developed.
