SocialLowCostFlex - Gemeinschaftliche flexible Low-Cost-Energieversorgungskonzepte im sozialen Wohnbau
Ziel des Projekts war die Erarbeitung von Konzepten für gemeinschaftliche Erzeugungsanlagen bzw. lokale Energiegemeinschaften in sozialen Wohnbauten sowie die Entwicklung von Low-Cost Ansätzen, um vorhandene thermische und elektrische Flexibilitäten mit minimal invasiven Eingriffen für das Stromsystem zu aktivieren und zur Steigerung des Eigenverbrauchs im Wohnbau bzw. Quartier, aber auch im Sinne des Gesamtsystems zu nutzen. Ergebnis des Projekts sind auf ihre Realisierbarkeit geprüfte Low Cost Konzepte und Geschäftsmodelle zur Umsetzung von gemeinschaftlichen Energieerzeugungs- und –nutzungskonzepten im sozialen Wohnbau.
SocialLowCostFlex - Collaborative flexible low-cost energy supply concepts for social housing
This project aimed for feasible low-cost solutions, which allow residents of multi-party houses, with special focus on social housing to profit and participate in the energy transition process and associated trends (e.g. community generation units, exploitation of flexibility). The results of the project are low-cost concepts and business models of community generation units and utilization concepts, tested for their feasibility in a social housing complex. These concepts are based on special requirements of different lifestyles in low-income households and take the framework of social housing such as tenant fluctuation into account.

The result is an integrated overall concept at the house and settlement level, and a transferable approach for other communities.

IEA SHC Task 41: Solarenergie und Architektur
Ziel des Projektes war es, die Vereinbarkeit von energetischer Optimierung und qualitativ hochwertiger Architektur von Gebäuden aufzuzeigen. Die architektonisch attraktive Integration solarer Energiesysteme führt zur Akzeptanzsteigerung solarer Energiesysteme und trägt zu deren Marktdurchdringung bei. Im Projekt wurden Kriterien für architektonische Qualität sowie Leitlinien für ArchitektInnen und ProduktentwicklerInnen erarbeitet (Task A). Es wurden Leitlinien für die Entwicklung von Planungswerkzeugen festgelegt (Task B) sowie Konzepte und Best Practice Beispiele (Task C) dargestellt. Die Schwerpunkte des Projektes waren Aktivitäten zum Know-how-Austausch auf internationaler Ebene und Verbreitungsaktivitäten auf nationaler Ebene.
IEA DSM Task 25: Geschäftsmodelle für die effektivere Markteinführung von Energiedienstleistungen
Ziel des Tasks ist die Identifizierung und Entwicklung von effektiven Geschäftsmodellen für Energiedienstleistungen, die zu einem Wachstum des nachfrageseitigen Marktes für Energieeffizienz-Dienstleistungen führen sollen. Es wurden die Rahmenbedingungen (Energie-Ökosysteme) auf nationaler Ebene analysiert, in denen sich diese Geschäftsmodelle erfolgreich entwickeln können. Beispiele für Start-Ups, welchen Herausforderungen sie sich stellen müssen, wo es Defizite gibt aber auch was besonders gut funktioniert wurden dokumentiert und für diese Anwendungen unter anderem ein Web-Analyse-Tool entwickelt.

Das zentrale Element ist die Modellierung von Stadtstrukturen auf Mikroquartiersebene.
SC_micro-quarters – Planning and modernisation of smart city quarters with a view to energy optimisation and a high quality of life
The SC_micro-quarters project demonstrates possibilities for urban planning and urban quarter development with a view to creating a path to a low carbon city with a high quality of life and good resilience, while taking into account existing and proposed buildings, infrastructures and uses. The central element is the modelling of urban structures at micro-quarter level.

A proactive participation process aims at informing developers and investors as well as other stakeholders about the realization of PlusEnergy concepts.
Housing 4.0 - digital platform for affordable living
The main aim of this project is the development of an integrated framework for the digital platform "Housing 4.0"; thus supporting integrated planning and project delivery through coupling various digital tools and databases. Thereby, the potentials of BIM for modular, off-site housing assembly in order to improve planning and construction processes, reduce cost and construction time and allow for mass customization will be explored. The novel approach in this project is user-involvement; which has been neglected in recent national and international projects on off-site, modular construction, supported by digital technologies.

Die Stadt Melk hat sich als Ziel gesetzt, eine Vorreiterrolle im Bereich erneuerbare Energieversorgung und Klimaschutz einzunehmen. Dabei wird in einer Initiative angestrebt, Plus-Energie Areale umzusetzen. In zwei Stadtentwicklungsprojekten wird geprüft, unter welchen Rahmenbedingungen, technischen und organisatorischen Lösungen Plus-Energie Areale realisierbar sind. Ein proaktiver Beteiligungsprozess zielt darauf ab, Bauherrn und Investoren sowie andere Stakeholder von der Realisierung der Plus-Energie Konzepte zu informieren.

Plus-Energie-Campus - Energieflexibler Plus-Energie-Campus mit Living Lab
Im Projekt Plus-Energie-Campus wurden Wege zu einem nachhaltigen, zukunftssicheren Plusenergie-Quartier (PED) im Umfeld des Standorts der Fachhochschule Technikum Wien untersucht. Dabei wurde die Machbarkeit eines neuen Universitätsgebäudes als Plusenergie-Lehrgebäude im Detail untersucht und dessen Umsetzung vorbereitet. Zentrale Innovationsinhalte sind die energetische Flexibilisierung des Neubaus und des Quartiers sowie die Konzeption des Plusenergiehauses als "Living Lab".
