Commercial buildings of basic to medium standard are hardly ever designed by a high quality of innovative building services engineering. In the project Sunny research! a sustainable building design with high energy performance was developed. The aim was to adapt the aspects of Renewable Energy, thermal comfort and wellness in work.

The main aim of the project ROOFJET Wißgrillgasse is a building refurbishment by a factor of 8 which demonstrates that even historical buildings can be refurbished to lowest energy standard.This demonstration project shows a holistic and sustainable refurbishment concept for a special type of buildings with innovative technical and organizational solutions.

The project deals wtih the energy consumption monitoring of demonstration buildings, which are erected within the framework of the landmark project "aspern+". As both, office/manufacturing as well as residential buildings will be constructed, these different user groups will have to be considered. The derivation of the concepts will be done in accordance of the specific needs of the individual demonstration buildings.

Das Forschungsprojekt "WEG zur Zukunft" untersucht die niedrigen Sanierungsraten von Wohnungseigentümer­gemeinschaften (WEGs) in Österreich und die damit verbundenen kommunikativen, regulatorischen, organisatorischen und finanziellen Herausforderungen. Gemeinsam mit den betroffenen Stakeholder:innen – vor allem Eigentümer:innen und Hausverwaltungen – werden in einem co-kreativen Prozess die Grundlagen für Lösungen entwickelt, die auf dem Weg zur Umsetzung weiterhelfen können.
