Natural Dyes for the Textile Industry
New cooperations between agriculture und industry are necessary to ensure the utilization of renewable materials. The project´s focus is upon natural dyes and their application in textile industry. The goal of the project is to create a contact institution which connects various suppliers of diverse plant materials, takes on the processing, and standardising of the natural dyes, and makes a product that can be used by the industry.

NAWARO CASCADING PILOT - Realisierung der kaskadischen Nutzung von Steinobst-Restmassen; Umsetzungsorientierte Planung zur Errichtung einer Pilotanlage für die Herstellung vermarktbarer Produkte
NAWARO-CASCADING PILOT verfolgt das Ziel, durch Systemlösungen neue Nutzungsmöglichkeiten zur Verwertung von Obstkernen zu finden und dabei wesentliche Prinzipien und Technologien kaskadischer Pflanzennutzung zu entwickeln und zu demonstrieren.
KRÄUTERHEXEN - Wertschöpfung durch Heilmittel und Wellnessprodukte aus regionalen Rohstoffehn
Regionale Hersteller und Anbieter von Produkten aus nachwachsenden Rohstoffen (Kräutern) entwickelten eine gemeinsame Produktlinie mit eigener Identität und entsprechendem Qualitätsmanagement um eine höhere Wertschöpfung im Bereich Wellnessprodukte zu erzielen. Das Angebot der Produkte selbst (Cremen, Massage- und Pflegeöle, Kräutertees, Tinkturen, Genussmittel usw.), wurde um die Weitergabe des Wissens und Bewusstseinsbildung in Form von Seminaren, Kursen und geführten Wanderungen ergänzt.
Phytozid - Einsatz von Rainfarnextrakt und dessen Inhaltsstoffe als Insektizid gegen den Apfelwickler
Gewinnung eines Repellent-Gesamtextraktes im Großmaßstab aus der heimischen Pflanze Rainfarn und dessen Einsatz in Freiland- und diagnostischen Laborversuchen gegen den ökonomisch bedeutsamen Schädling Apfelwickler, um alternative Strategien für den Pflanzenschutz auf Basis von Naturstoffen zu entwickeln.
