REC-Businesspark - Investigation of the first Austrian renewable energy community business and industrial park

In the course of the project, the conceptual design of a zero-emission or plus-energy business park in Weiz with a focus on photovoltaics and fuel cells in combination with a Renewable Energy Community (E-EGe) had been carried out. By establishing the park on a "greenfield", all structures can be created according to the requirements of the E-EGe.

DeLight Monitoring - Demo light Impact-Monitoring und messtechnische Untersuchung von energieeffizienten Gebäuden

Das Projekt umfasst die messtechnische Untersuchung von elf innovativen Gebäuden hinsichtlich ihres Energieverbrauchs und Nutzungskomforts. Darüber hinaus werden Gebäudeerrichter und -betreiber sowie die Öffentlichkeit zum Thema energietechnische Optimierung des Gebäudebetriebs sensibilisiert und dessen Potenziale aufgezeigt.

The Project consists of the metrological examination of eleven innovative buildings in terms of energy consumption and user comfort. In addition, building constructors and operators as well as the public are sensitized to the subject of energy-related optimization of building operation. Also, the potentials of energy-related optimization of building operation are shown.

Digitaler Zwilling / Building Tracker - Kopplung der Gebäudesimulation mit physischen Gebäuden in Echtzeit

Ziel des Projektes ist die Kopplung eines Bürogebäudes in der Betriebsphase mit seinem virtuellen Zwilling, dem "Building-Tracker", der im Projekt entwickelt und erstmalig eingesetzt wird. Mit Hilfe der Kopplung von Monitoring und Simulation ist ein innovatives Gebäudeenergiemanagement zur Erreichung von nahe Nullenergiegebäuden möglich.

Climate Hub Vienna - Concept development and preparation of an innovation laboratory to accelerate Vienna’s path to climate neutrality

Preparation of an urban innovation laboratory to support decarbonisation in Vienna by 2040. The focus is on systemic innovation and accelerated roll-out of RTI projects through infrastructure, services, networking and the systematic involvement of city administration and users. The innovation lab is intended to strengthen the effectiveness of innovations and the participation of the Viennese in the transformation.

Plus-Energy-Campus - Energy-flexible Positive Energy District with "Living Lab"

The project explored paths to a sustainable, future-proof Positive Energy-District (PED) in the area surrounding the location of the University of Applied Sciences Vienna (FH-Technikum Wien). The feasibility of a new university building as a Plus-Energy teaching building had been examined in detail to prepare its implementation. Central innovation contents are the energetic flexibilization of the new building and the quarter as well as the conception of the Plus-Energy building as a "Living Lab".

Multi-Activ-Facade

Multi-Activ-Facade is a pre-manufactured, multifunctional panellised façade, which incorporates ventilation with heat recovery, passive house windows and photovoltaic for smart self-supply within retrofitting measures. The specific challenge is the application within social housing.

Wohnen und Arbeiten in der Bildungsgemeinde Moosburg

Ziel war, nicht nur angenehme Wohnsituationen oder funktionierende Arbeitsmilieus zu schaffen, sondern diese Bereiche gezielt zu verbinden und so einen ganzheitlich attraktiven „Lebensraum“ zu generieren. Mehrere zukunftsweisende Piloteinheiten an einem größeren, noch unbebauten Grundstück in fußläufiger Entfernung vom Dorfzentrum wurden umgesetzt.

Living and Working in the Moosburg, the "community of education"

The design aims not only at creating comfortable living spaces and practical work environments, but at connecting these realms, thus providing a holistically attractive “living space”. A pilot project will be built on an appropriate site in the very core of Moosburg, neighbouring both the village square and the educational campus.

Kooperatives Wohnen Volkersdorf (KooWo - Volkersdorf) - Suffizienz, Flächen sparen und Energieeffizienz im Areal

Am Beispiel des gemeinschaftlich geplanten Wohnprojekts „KooWo“ in Volkersdorf soll Suffizienz umgesetzt und das übergeordnete Ziel einer ganzheitlichen Energie- und CO2-Reduktion erreicht werden. Das Wohnprojekt verschiebt die Systemgrenze von einer nutzflächenbezogenen zu einer personen- und Sozialgemeinschaft-bezogenen Betrachtungsweise und generiert durch einen kollektiven Lebensraum Einsparungspotentiale beim Ressourcenverbrauch pro Kopf.

Cooperative Living Volkersdorf (KooWo - Volkersdorf) - sufficiency, space and energy efficiency in the quarter

The jointly planned demonstration project "KooWo" in Volkersdorf aims at reaching sufficiency as well as energy and CO2 reductions in a holistic way. System boundaries are shifted in order not to look only at energy consumption in buildings, relating to unit of floor space, but to consider all use of resources and relating it to persons and social communities.

LooPi - the autonomous unisex plant-based urinal for public spaces

Application of the prototype in the operational environment for a period of 20 months. Technical monitoring thoughout the cycle of seasons, user interviews concerning satisfaction, evaluation of the potential use of LooPi material streams as soil conditioner for organic farming. Results serve the development towards market maturity.

PlusIQ - Agrarphotovoltaik: Integration als Weg zum Plus-Energie-Quartier

Möglichkeiten, Potenziale und Voraussetzungen von Agrar-Photovoltaikanlagen werden analysiert.
