Rückblick: IEA Vernetzungsworkshop 2011

Am 9ten März fand der jährliche Vernetzungsworkshop der nationalen Akteure innerhalb der IEA-Forschungskooperation statt. Mit ca. 50 TeilnehmerInnen war der Workshop ein voller Erfolg und bot den Anwesenden einen umfassenden Überblick über aktuelle Themen der Internationalen Energieagentur (IEA).

MokiG: Monitoring for climate-neutral buildings

The aim is to develop and implement an innovative monitoring concept to demon­strate the achievement of climate neutrality in buildings. A central element here is the integration and linking of various data sources. The basis for this is a data mesh structure, artificial intelligence and the creation of digital twins. Finally, the metho­dology will be tested on real buildings and discussed with users.

WISE - Extension of the safety concept for heat pumps with flammable refrigerants for gas boiler replacement

In the project "WISE", safety concepts are being developed for the event of a leak in which flammable refrigerant escapes from the refrigeration circuit. These concepts aim to ensure a higher level of safety for residential installations than is currently required by the safety standard.

Kolpingquarter Salzburg - on site quarter energy supply with an optimized warmwater solution and grid serviceability

In a quarter on the site of the Kolpinghaus Salzburg, consisting of a youth residence and a hotel, energy optimizations and extensions are being carried out. This includes the construction of an affordable residential building for young people and families as well as the redesign of the overall energy supply of the neighborhood. The goals are to maximize the use of on-site renewable energy, phase out fossil fuel heat supply, interconnect the buildings, and optimize energy efficiency.
