IEA's "World Energy Outlook 2010"

The IEA's "World Energy Outlook 2010" has been released in November 2010 and provides updated projections of energy demand, production, trade and investment, fuel by fuel and region by region to 2035.

This year's IEA flagship publication takes a long, cool look at effects of government policies on energy technology RD&D, on prices of energy services and on energy users' behavior patterns. It looks at the gas glut and how long this is likely to dominate energy markets, as well as the prospects for unconventional oil.

With extensive updated data, projections and analysis, WEO 2010 provides invaluable insights into how the world's energy systems could evolve over the next quarter of a century. This book is essential reading for anyone with a stake in the energy sector.
