IEA Bioenergy Task 39: Biokraftstoffe zur Dekarbonisierung des Verkehrs (Arbeitsperiode 2025)

IEA Bioenergy Task 39 ist ein Netzwerk internationaler Expert:innen, das die Dekarbonisierung des Verkehrs mithilfe nachhaltiger Biokraftstoffe vorantreiben möchte, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf dem Fernverkehrssektor (Flugverkehr, Schifffahrt, Schwerlastverkehr) liegt. Ziel der nationalen Arbeiten ist es, Informationen über den weltweiten technologischen und politischen Stand der Biotreibstoffe zu sammeln und zu analysieren und damit zur Entwicklung nachhaltiger, sozial- und umweltverträglicher Biotreibstoffsysteme beizutragen.

IEA Bioenergy Task 39: Biofuels to Decarbonize Transport (Working period 2026 - 2027)

IEA Bioenergy Task 39 is a network of international experts promoting decarbonisation through sustainable biofuels with low fossil carbon intensity. In the current triennium, the focus is on: implementation and promotion of emerging markets, demonstration of advanced biofuel technologies, development of biofuels for aviation, shipping and heavy-duty transport, and synergies with e-fuels and BECCUS technologies.

Im aktuellen Triennium liegen die Schwerpunkte auf: Implementierung und Förderung aufstrebender Märkte, Demonstration fortschrittlicher Biotreibstofftechnologien, die Entwicklung von Biotreibstoffen für den Luftfahrt, Schifffahrt und Schwerlastverkehr, sowie Synergien mit E-fuels und BECCUS Technologien.
