The transformation of the energy system is a pressing national and international challenge. Its success depends not only on technological innovation, but also on understanding the social, institutional, organisational, and place-based dimensions of change. The symposium will address key themes including socio-technical collaboration, planning and participation, organisational capability, benefit-sharing and business models, and tools for improved dialogue and decision-making.
