Pioneering Austrian Cities

Cities have a key role to play in tackling the climate crisis, because they are responsible for around three quarters of global carbon emissions and energy consumption. Austrian towns and cities of all sizes are currently forging ahead as pioneers and are devising some innovative strategies and solutions for achieving climate neutrality as quickly as possible. They are being aided in their
endeavours by the mission "Climate-neutral City".
