Content Description

Indoor air quality and ventilation have a significant impact on the health and comfort of building occupants, as well as on the energy efficiency of buildings. Over the past few decades, numerous studies and initiatives have measured and examined pollutant concentrations, emission rates and regulations relating to indoor air quality.

However, the resulting data often cannot be used for further research. The datasets are typically fragmented, inaccessible, inadequately documented and poorly harmonised. This makes them difficult to compare and reuse, for example in global meta-analyses.

This webinar will present existing databases, as well as databases currently under development, covering indoor air quality, ventilation and sources of pollutants. These databases are intended to help overcome the challenges outlined above.
