- Basics & Nature: Gain insight into today's global socio-economic landscape and explore why a fundamental transformation is necessary. Understand the link between the pursuit of infinite economic growth, planetary boundaries, and climate change.
- Finance & Money: Examine the role of money, international banking systems, financial markets, and ethics within the monetary system. Explore alternative approaches, such as complementary currencies, while tackling the key question: "How can financial markets serve eco-social interests instead of their own?"
- Economics with social and ecological values: At the heart of the summer university, this module explores transformative alternatives for reforming economic and financial systems. Topics include Doughnut Economics, democratic banking, de-growth, positive money, reduced working hours, and more — approach solutions from a holistic perspective!
- A social-ecological transformation: Dive into the socio-political dimensions of transformation, including activism, power structures, and systemic change. Collaborate on group projects addressing social, ecological, or economic challenges, present your solutions, and reflect on key learnings of the entire program.
