Round Table "European Networks on Sustainable Planning" on 20.4.2005
This open meeting will bring together a round table consisting of representatives of key networking organisations promoting sustainable planning in Europe. Our aim is to share and disseminate the results of the EU ECOCITY project in which Tübingen has participated from 2001 - 2004. We are inviting the round table members to exchange their recent work and experience in the field of sustainable planning. It is an opportunity to explore together how we can enhance co-operation amongst organisations seeking to offer professional support to local practicioners, in order deliver best practice planning throughout Europe.
Study Tour "Sustainable Urbanism" on 21./22.2005
European Developers and Planners will visit outstanding award-winning residential and mixed-use projects in Tübingen and its vicinity, that demonstrate how the integration of key sustainable elements can have multiple benefits. These most recent types of "Sustainable Urbanism" have the potential to raise, at one stroke, the environmental, social and commercial value of the sites.

Architects, planers, network respresentatives and key multiplyers who are promoting Sustainable Planning on a regional or national level
Participant Information
Both events are free of charge. Flight and hotel costs are to be paid individually. Registration Deadline for both events is 24. March 2005.
