The roundtable is focusing on policy aspects and fundamental benefits of District Heating and Cooling.

Organizer

The Roundtable is jointly hosted by the DHC IA and the DHC+ Technology Platform.

Content Description

The programme is based on projects that:

  • examine legislative mechanisms in many countries in Europe and around the World
  • assess the benefits of DHC in terms of primary energy and carbon emission reduction, and local economic development.

These projects are run under the European Commission's Intelligent Energy for Europe programme and the District Heating & Cooling Implementing Agreement, organised under the auspices of the International Energy Agency (IEA).

Target Audience

The workshop focus is primarily policy makers.

The Roundtable is integrated into the programme of the biannual Congress of Euroheat & Power (9-10 May) at Maison de la Chimie in Paris.
